moved (again)

hey guys. am currently at pretty-sad-story.tumblr.com now. just to inform. yeah.

DO YOU SEE? they are already imitating old fashioned things! maybe the world COULD end off like harry potter’s. it’d be so cool. imagine with the flick of a wand you get an apple. it’d be best if it was pure magic, but it’d be amazing too if it was done in technology! it’s so cool. i’m defnitely going to work for harry potter theme park. and like when i’m there, i could influence my colleagues to wear wizard robes to work everyday, to seem like we’re really living in a wizarding world. that’d be DAMN COOL. and make our office look like some real wizard place.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort kicked off its grand opening celebration tonight with help from Harry Potter film stars Tom Felton, Michael Gambon, Bonnie Wright, Oliver Phelps, Daniel Radcliffe, Matthew Lewis, Warwick Davis, Rupert Grint and James Phelps. Hundreds of people gathered in front of Hogwarts castle for a spectacular display of fireworks choreographed to a special performance of music from the Harry Potter films conducted live by renowned composer John Williams. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will officially grand open to the public this Friday, June 18.

THE GREAT HALL? HONEYDUKES? ALL BECOMING A REALITY??? THIS IS INSANE! HECK ALL THE CRITICISMS ON TECHNOLOGY I WANT TECHNOLOGY TO MAKE THE WIZARDING WORLD REAL!!!!!!!!!!!! now i know what it means, for someone to give a word or thing meaning.

i had been waking up in the past 2 days or so totally dreadful. the medicine that tastes way beyond words can describe, i rather it be bitter than be some horrible out of the earth tongue experience. and the aimlessness, idling around. i hope the days wont continue on it would be nice to STOP. we can see clearly what is ahead of us and it is coming on full speed towards us before we know it BAM. unconscious. was that the eoys? was that the o levels? is this the holidays? are we starting jc tomorrow?

on how parents are selfish

i would very much appreciate if my mum had bothered to wake me up in the morning. despite a zillion times of me telling her “wake me up at 8 and if i dont wake up pour cold water on me” she just refuses to let her daughter lose that two hours of sleep. she stands in the corridor and look and think poor thing she needs more sleep then walks off and does her own thing and just leave e to wake up whenever i want.

and that’s why i say parents are selfish. seriously. seriously and in to a very bad extend and also seriously serious. i know my mum by letting me sleep in came from good intention BUT SHE FAILS TO SEE THAT if i wake up late, i’d miss breakfast and end up with AGAIN, TWO MEALS A DAY WHICH IS FUCKINGLY UNHEALTHY, AND, that leaves me with LESS DAY TIME TO DO STUFF AND waking up later will mean sleeping later for me MY MUM KNOWS THAT. so that’s all the bad consequences of sleeping in YET SHE JUST WANTS ME TO SLEEP MORE. YOU SEE? it sucks! she thinks she’s HELPING ME but SHE IS NOT! and no matter how many times i tell her, she just doesnt get it and just go by her on will of making me sleep more.

anyway. you see, how many of us are totally not influenced by  our parents’ actions or habits? i bet all of us are. they IMPOSE things on us, even if unconsciously. and that’s why i say that parent are seriously selfish. by having a child, what they are really doing is to bring another human into the world and characterize them with the same actions, habits, characteristics as the  parents! and so what if many of the things our parents do are “good for us”? it’s ultimately good for THEM. it makes sense, listen on. if they say, “i’m asking you to study hard because i want you to have a good life ahead.” see anything wrong? see anything that doesnt make parents seem so “selfless” anymore? yeah, the phrase is “I WANT”. the paretns said it! THEY WANT something for us! it’s not only and ultimately for our own good really, we having a good life ahead actually just give the parents a peace of mind. you see? cuz they dont want to worry about us! they DONT WANT to worry about us. they DONT WANT sth bad to happen to us. the word is “want”.

you see, and really, our parents’ habits will influence us  too. take food. what if we come across parents who eat unhealthily and doesnt bother to change their diet? the child gets influenced! on the other hand, what if we come across parents who eats heathily? the child eats healthily too! see, they impose things on us without even knowing it, as much as we can express our disagreement with whatever they are imposing on us, but since childhood, we’re probably influenced by them 90% and yeah our personality and characteristics all coem from them, be it from genes of early childhood influence. see?

and then growing up thinking our parents had done so much for us, we think we have the responsibility to take care of them. our preants just imposed a MORAL OBLIGATON on us to take care of them when they get old. and actually, by PURE LOGIC and no emotions, we have no duty whatsoever to take care of them (yes it shocked you?) because it was THEIR decision to have us in the first place and they should also bear whatever responsibility and face whatever consequence that comes with that decision, such as when the child decides to leave them, they can only let it be this way. there is no logic that tells us one should take care of his parents. all those filial thing comes from emotion. cuz we FEEL grateful towards them. that’s the only reason why so many people take care of their parents.

and really, we are not exactly THEIRS, you know. we are a separate human being. but we were treated like an object when we were way younger. well, not exactly an object but more like, our parents acted as if they OWNED us, by imposing lots of things on us. THEY created the environment for us and that really influence us a hell lot. and what if the child grows up and decides he dislikes that environment, or what if the environment actually does harm to the child in the future? so there the parents didnt exactly give him the best, did they? they just let him grow up in that environment because THEY were living in that environment. they made the decision, and we had no  choice but to follow. and actually that’s why being a parents is the most selfish thing yet because no parent can run away from imposing things on their child.  because sometimes they dont do it consciouly but they are still doing it. and that have life long impact on the children. it’s like the parents has all the choice in the world to choose a mold for the child, and the child has no choice but to shape according to the mold. it’s also impossible for parents to NOT make a choice at all and let the child choose because a child for one thing cant choose and it would just be unthinkably hard to work the world that way. that’s why, parents are selfish even though they may not want to be, or even though they are not purposely being selfish. it’s inevitable. but does that mean we should then forgive the parents? i dont think so. they as adults could have chosen not to have a child.

okay i know tons of people will say i’m being so ridiculous by saying that, but hey, that’s the truth. and the truth always hurts.

but this post does not mean that i will abandon my parents in the future, in fact, i will take care of them because i HAVE emotions and DO feel grateful despite knowing it’s just the selfishness of parents that drives them to do things but yeah, it wont feel right if i abandon them. in other words, you can also say i’m morally obliged to take care of them.

well, as much as i would like to know how this argument does not work out, i cant think of any counter argument. because i believe that people do good things for others for themselves really. (just that i dont think that in daily life because that makes one feel extremely sad) enlighten me if you disagree.

HAVE YOU HEARD OF MICROSOFT OFFICE ONENOTE?? IT’S INCREDIBLY AWESOME!

AND I JUST WANNA CRY OVER COURSEWORK. okay wait no i dont cry over this kind of stuff but GAH I AM JUST NOT SOCIAL ENOUGH TO FIND ANYONE WHO IS EXCITED ABOUT DOING THE FLASHMOB, OKAY. AND I ADMIT I’M WEIRD ENOUGH TO BE THE ONLY PERSON IN THE SCHOOL WHO CAME UP WITH THE ACCELERATION THEORY BUT NO ONE ELSE BELIEVES ME EXCEPT FOR THREE PEOPLE.
